Some disadvantage about being multicellular are the following

Explanation:

We can take examples and understand eg- Amoeba (Unicellular)
Human Beings (Multicellular)

*We are more complex than Amoeba.

*Our Alimentary canal is so long and is divided into many parts so it takes long to digest our food . where as in amoeba there is no such type of canal so food digests faster.

*our functions in body are very much complex for example respiration, digestion etc.

we can simply say that by becoming multicellular we are gaining complexity which makes our body function give results after a long time.
