Explanation:
Assimilation is a term referring to another part of the adaptation process.
It plays an important role in how we learn about the world around us.
Examples would be as follows.
A college student learning how to use a new computer program.
A chef learning a new cooking technique
A student learning a new language
On the other hand accommodation refers to a creation or modification.
Such as buying a new book, realizing it doesn't fit in your bookshelf, and buying a new bookshelf to store all your books in.
Downloading a program on your computer, not having enough space on your hard drive, and buying another hard drive.
