Bigger stars have shorter lifetimes.

Explanation:

Our star, the sun, will last for about 10 billion years, it is at about 5 billion right now. A star about 10 times the size of our sun will live about 10 million years, and there are lots of that type of star. They end their life in a super nova. The smallest stars can live 100 billion years or more, we really don't know.
