What are the products of this reaction ethanoate propyl + H2O?

It is the hydrolysis of esters and I need to find the products.

Well what are you hydrolyzing.. #"propyl acetate"#...?

Explanation:

#"Propyl acetate"# when hydrolyzed under acidic conditions, would yield the parent alcohol and the parent acid of the ester:

#"H"_3"CC(=O)OCH"_2"CH"_2"CH"_3stackrel(H_3O^+,Delta)rarr"H"_3"CC(=O)OH"+ "Pr"^n"OH"#

And of course this is the REVERSE of the original esterification reaction, the which eliminated water from acetic acid and propanol.
