Explanation:

The sun heats the Earth's water .... it evaporates and eventually precipitates … the condensed water is collected in a huge hydroelectric dam. The collected water, now given a huge gravitational potential energy (by the sun), now powers a huge turbine, which drives a generator, which is supplied to industries and households (for a FEE!!).
