What body parts are connected by tendons?
Tendons connect muscle to bone.
Tendons are dense regular connective tissue. They are elongated cylindrical structure, rich in collagen. Collagen makes them white in color and in-extensible in nature. Tendons attach striated muscle to bone.
Following is a diagram of tendons around ankle. Achilles tendon (named after the mythical Greek hero) connects calf muscle to heel bone.
