Absorptive cells (enterocytes), goblet cells, Paneth's cells and entero-endocrine cells.

Explanation:

Absorptive cells or enterocytes are tall columner cells. These cells have microvilli on their apex. These are electron microscopic projections of cell membrane to increase the surface area for absorption. Absorption of nutrients is the main function of enterocytes.

Goblet cells produce mucus, which helps in protection and lubrication of lining of the intestine.

Paneth's cells are located in the basal portion of intestinal gland. They secrete lysozyme, which controls intestinal flora.

The entero-endocrine cells produce intestinal hormones like secretin, motilin, cholecystokinin etc.
