The constant degradation of environment to make concrete forests. China has the most ambitious projects in the world and their infrastructure are made at a tremendous rate.

Explanation:

For this they have to cut forests, encroach upon rivers and other water bodies. Also the number of manufacturing plants contribute to such bad air in China.
