Since they do not emit any radiation we have to look alternate methods.

Stars orbiting black holes will have very high velocity
When matter falls in to the black hole very high temperature is created and from the accreditation disk X rrays are emitted.We can detect this radiation by X raY TELESCOPE IN SPACE.,
