In cyclic photophosphorylation, the electrons come back to chloroplast molecules, while in the non-cyclic photophosphorylation, the splitting of water provides the electrons to the chloroplast and produces oxygen as by product. In the non-ncyclic photophosphorylation produces NADPH as well as ATP.
