Assuming the reaction is all at room temperature:

What is galvanized iron coil?

Iron plated with zinc.

So initially the Hydrochloric acid wil react with zinc slowly like so:

#Zn +2HCl > ZnCl_2 +H_2#

So you get Zinc Chloride and Hydrogen , the gas bubbles away.

Depending on the galvanishing thickness, you might have a situation where the iron gets exposed to the acid, which leads to this reaction:

#Fe + 2HCl > FeCl_2 + H_2#
