Binary Phase diagram

Simply It is a graphical representation of an element and its phases(solid, liquid, gas) under different temperature and pressure conditions. The variables as the name suggests(binary) are two taken on x axis and y axis. For example temperature and pressure on y and x axes respectively . It tells us pure melting point, boiling point ,what impact decrease in temperature causes, phases change with temperature .Hope this helps thanksenter image source here
