A cephalopod means head-feet and it is a marine invertebrate. They include the octopi and squid.
The octopi are considered to be the most intelligent invertebrates. All are venomous but only the blue-ringed octopus is deadly to humans.
Most have a very short life span and only live a few weeks to months after reproduction.
