Lord of the Flies


Lord of the Flies, by William Golding, is a story about some boys trapped on an island on the face of it however under analysis it is in fact an allegory for the faults of mankind that Golding sees.
Many things are influenced by his experience of war in the navy however also by his experience as a grammar school teacher at a grammar school in Salisbury and the world around him.
