Trees and shrubs

Just keep in mind direct objects are both animate or inanimate anything on earth.
Simply subject and objects are always nouns or at best pronouns.

Sometime an adjective uses like a noun but form is s bit different.

Like, the rich are not always happy.
Rich is generally an adjective but when we use it like a noun,it indicates all that need plural form verb but need not "s" after it(exception)
