What is the benefit of sex to species?

1 Answer

Sex is resposible for variations in the species.

Explanation:

The sexual reprodusction is facilitated by the sexes. There are two sexes i.e., male and female. The male and female produce male and female gametes, respetively. These gametes are the result of meiotic divisions in the sex cells. The event of crossing over during the meiotic cell division brought about recombiantions in the genes. Ultimately, the recombined genes result variations in the next coming generations, which help the process of natural selection in population. The naturally selected organisms survive.
