The Peripheral Nervous System includes all of the nerves of the body including the Sensory Nervous System and the Motor Nervous System.

The Sensory Nervous System conducts information from Sensory Organs and Glands to the CNS.
The Motor Nervous System conducts information from the CNS to the Muscle and and Glands to perform body functions.

The Motor Nervous System includes the Somatic Nervous System and the Autonomic Nervous System.

The Somatic Nervous System carries information from the CNS to the Musculature under voluntary control.

The Autonomic Nervous System carries information from the CNS to the Glands and Organs under involuntary control.

The Autonomic Nervous System is divided into the Sympathetic and Parasympathetic.

The Sympathetic Nerves activate body control under emergency response (fight or flight).

The Sympathetic Nerves activate body systems to maintain homeostasis.
