I would say it is made of DNA, proteins, & RNA.

Explanation:

Chromatin does not have a specific chemical formula for itself, as it is made up of other big molecules, so-called macromolecules, such as DNA, proteins, and RNA.

Its main job is allow for mitosis and meiosis to happen, as well as to control gene expression and allow for DNA replication, and also to synthesise chromosomes. Chromatin is found in the nucleus of the cell.

Even though it has been highly researched, chromatin's structure is still highly misunderstood.
