Climates are defined by specific temperature ranges, precipitation and geography. We have "recognized" climate "zones", i.e. Arctic, Temperate, Sub-tropical, and Tropical/equatorial.

WITHIN a climate zone the types of atmospheric effects (temperature, sunshine, precipitation) expected throughout the year is the Weather. So, where you lived can be pretty constantly defined as one climate or another. The weather you experience may vary daily (and certainly is often NOT what the "weatherman" predicted!).
