And since the graph is a straight line with a constant gradient, $f \left(x\right)$ will gives all real values from negative infinity to positive infinity: $f \left(x\right) \in \left[- \infty , \infty\right]$ (meaning $f \left(x\right)$ is in the range of and including negative infinity to positive infinity)
