What is the function of antigen presenting cells?

Antigen Presenting cells trap the wandering bacteria or pathogen , process them and display their antigens on their surface and takes it to B lymphocytes for the production of Antibodies.

APC B. MACDEN

APC for Antigen Presenting cells
B for B lymphocytes
MAC for Macrophages
DEN for Dendritic cells
