Consider the ether,

We take the parent chain to be the carbon chain that is the longest, and with the most substituents, where the ether is called an oxy group.

Hence, I would name this,

3-methyl-4-neopentoxybutane, or

3-methyl-4-(2-methylbutoxy)butane
