Polymerization is the process which is responsible for the formation of large number of organic molecules.

Explanation:

Defining polymerization:-

Pole simple means many. Here we come to know that this word has something to do with many molecules.

It is a complex(maybe simple for the beginners) chemical reaction in which more smaller molecules combine to form larger molecules thus losing their initial properties.

The bigger molecule formed contains the structural tail of the initial molecules which are participating in the reaction taking place.
