ATP, the energy carrier for all cellular processes.

Explanation:

To put it simply: in the electron transport chain the movement of electrons is used to pump hydrogen atoms (#H^+#) to one side of the thylakoid membrane (inside chloroplasts of plants).

At the end of the transport chain the #H^+# atoms flow from high concentration to low concentration which fuels the enzyme ATP synthase. This way ATP is made, which is the energy carrier that is used in all cellular processes.

In this image the electron transport chain starts on the left. Electrons are transported from one protein complex to another. This creates the hydrogen gradient. On the right the sysnthesis of ATP is shown, the end product of this process.
