Besides torrential water release, thunderstorms produce tornadoes, damaging hail and strong winds.

Explanation:

A large thunderstorm can include (and often does) the generation of tornadoes of various sizes. They are one of the main destructive results of thunderstorms.

Additionally, hail can build up to the point of very large and heavy hailstones in a large thunderstorm. These can cause severe property, animal and personal damage.

Finally, the wind produced in thunderstorms may be destructive as well, although not as severe as a tornado.
