It’s often called the Big Crunch (the idea is it would be the opposite of the Big Bang which started the universe.)

Explanation:

The theory for this is less popular among Physicists since dark energy has been proposed, but it had been assumed (1925 - 2000 approx.) that gravity would eventually overcome the initial impulse provided by the Big Bang and cause an exponentially increasing attraction. This has also given rise to (many) cyclical universe theories which appear to be untestable.

Things are now less clear (!), but most people think we are (eventually) heading for a Big Rip as the expansion of the universe accelerates exponentially.
