Green leaf absorbs all colours of light except green colour.

Explanation:

Light is made up of seven colours, i.e. violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange and red, representing different wavelengths of light. Out of all these wave-lengths in the visible spectrum, all are absorbed except those of green colour, which are reflected back. The leaves look green because green colour of light is not absorbed but reflected back reaching our eyes.
