The Hubble Deep Field revealed a lot of galaxies.

Explanation:

The Hubble Deep Field (HDF) is a small area of sky in Ursa Major which has very few stars. The idea was that the stars we see are in our galaxy and tend to obscure objects outside of our galaxy.

The HDF is far from empty. Over 3,000 galaxies were imaged. Some of the galaxies were very distant young galaxies from the early universe.

Other images like HDF have since been taken. They revealed similar results. This proves that the universe is quite uniform. We are not in an area which is any different to any other.
