Landfills

Explanation:

Most municipal solid waste are stored in landfills. Country to country there are differences though.

In France, for instance, only 45% of municipal solid waste ended in landfills. However, many countries (including Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany, Spain, United Kingdom, and the United States) prefer landfilling over other methods in terms of municipal solid waste management.
