Who discovered that the earth revolves around the sun and how was it proven?

Earlier, Ptolemy and Aristotle saw space bodies' moving around Earth.. Copernicus model (1508 AD) placed Sun at the center, showing orbits of Earth and other planets as circles.

Explanation:
