Why are all Numericals in the chapter -Electricity, based on convectional current and not the electron current?

It is a matter of history. Science started studying current and charges before it was known which particle was flowing in a current.

Explanation:

Much had been written before the truth was known and it was considered easier allowing matters to continue as they were. It actually does not change anything. Treating current as flowing from plus to negative voltage continues and is called conventional current (not convectional current).
