Why are the temperatures on each of the other terrestrial planets more extreme than the temperatures on Earth?

Mercury is only 0.39 AU distance from Sun. So it is hot.

Explanation:

Venus 0.72 Au only.But is hotter than Mercury due to green house effect. High pressure carbon di oxide traps heat and so Venus have higher temperature than Mercury. about 470 degree C.
Mars the other terrestrial planet is not hotter than earth.It have cold weather.
Mars average temperature is -55 degree C.
