Why has the reliability and validity of the inkblot test been questioned?

Trustworthiness of the patient or test subject and the influences that may be brought upon the subject as well.


I am no expert, but it would seem that, since the inkblot test is an opinion based test, it is possible to surpass the system.
There are ways to find out the acceptable responses for an individual card, as well as purposely trying to make oneself seem special. This, however, can be said with multiple accounts of physiological tests that require opinion based answers. This test is just harder to check for accuracy.
