lift meaning staying in the air.

Explanation:

the larger the balloon the more lift. By increasing the volume of the balloon the balloonist can increase the lift of the balloon. Charles Law can be used the increase the volume of the balloon.

Charles Law says that volume is directly proportional to the absolute temperature ( degrees Kelvin) By increasing the temperature of the gases in the balloon the balloonist can increase the Volume of the balloon thereby increasing lift.

The Balloonist can increase the temperature of the gas in the balloon by turning on the burners on the hot air balloon. The more the balloonist uses the burners the higher the temperature in the gasses, the greater the volume, the greater the lift.

The balloonist uses Charles Law to increase the lift of the balloon that allows the balloon to stay in the air.
