Witch one? and thank u for helping.

Jack tries to place magnets on the door of his refrigerator. He observes that the magnets don’t stick. He guesses that the door of the refrigerator is made of a nonmagnetic substance. What stage of scientific investigation does his guess represent?
1. ask questions
2. construct a hypothesis
3. explain the results
4.make observations

Jack is explaining his result.

Explanation:

Jack is noticing that his magnets do not stick to the refrigerator.

He may have already constructed a hypothesis that the refrigerator and magnets stick together because the refrigerator is magnetic.

In order to support his hypothesis, Jack tries to stick magnets on a particular refrigerator (this is part of his experiment).
He observes that they do not stick; these are results.

Note these are results from just one refrigerator, however.

Jack may want to try many other refrigerators and other types of magnets as he continues his experiment.

This would add validity and power to his hypothesis.

Making a guess is forming a hypothesis

Explanation:

A hypothesis is a prediction based on an idea or theory The idea or theory is most often based on existing observations that are extrapolated into a hypothesis about what will happen.

The observations that the magnets don't stick is an observation that leads to his hypothesis that the refrigerator is made of non ferrous material.
