Explanation:

You already have the hours part figured out..

So we know that there is 60 mins in an hr,

Therefore:
#200/60= 3R20#

The remainder which is 20, is your number of minutes...

If you don't like this method, there's one picking off where you left out:

You know in 200 mins there is at least 3 hrs, and in each hour there is 60 mins:

Figure out how many minutes there are in 3 hrs:
#3*60= 180#

Subtract that from the total minutes:
#200-180= 20#
