Rain is not distilled water.

Explanation:

Rain forms when water vapor in saturated air condenses around a nuclei (small particles of dust, salt or even ice for the water to actually condense onto). In order for water vapor to turn into liquid water without nuclei (spontaneous condensation) it requires the air mass to be super saturated (somewhere around 300% relative humidity) which is something that does not occur in nature since condensation nuclei are found pretty much everywhere.

When water is distilled it condenses on the tube in the distiller. Since the water has a surface to condense on it does not require condensation nuclei. Since there is no nuclei the water is much cleaner and purer than rain water.
