The relationship between Mean Arterial Blood Pressure (#P#), Total peripheral resistance (#R#) and Cardiac Output (#V#) is given as

#P=VR#

Now, Cardiac output = #5.5 L /(min)# means this amount of blood is ejected from each ventricle per mts,so total cardiac output is #11 L/(min)# (from #2# ventricles)

So, #V= 11(10^-3/60) (m^3)/s#

Now, Mean Arterial Blood Pressure = Diastolic Blood Pressure + #1/3# Pulse Pressure = #95 + 1/3 (130-95)=106.67# #mm# of Hg #= 106.67 * 133.322= 14221.458 Pa#

So, #R = P/V = 77571.58 * 10^3 N.sm^-5#

But in reality this value will not match because of several factors like, efficiency of heart, patency of all blood vessels, radius of blood vessels which is not the same all through etc.
