Explanation:

The decomposition of #CaCO_3->CaO+CO_2# takes a lot of heat. It was done for thousands of years to produce burnt lime from lime stone, in order to make an important ingredient of mortar to build with.

The opposite reaction will produce heat. All it needs is a thorough mixing of the ingredients.
