  1. One male gamete unite with the two polar nuclei and form the primary endosperm cell. It is known as triple fusion.
  2. The primary endosperm cell undergoes further divisions and revisions to produce cellular, nuclear and helobial endosperms.
  3. The endosperm provides food to developing embryo. The endosperm either present or absent in the seeds, the seeds may be either endospermi/albuminous or non-endospermic/ex-albuminous. Thanks.
