#f^-1 = 6/(x-3)#

Explanation:

The format is not very clear, I will assume it is
#f(x) = 6/x + 3, "rather than" 6/(x+3)#

There is a very clear method for finding an inverse of a function.
1. Write #f(x) " as " y#
2. Swop x and y
3. Make y the subject of the formula.
4. Write #y" as " f^-1(x)#

#f(x) = 6/x + 3, rArr y = 6/x +3#

#x = 6/y +3#
#x - 3 = 6/y#
#y(x-3) = 6#
#y = 6/(x-3)#

#f^-1 = 6/(x-3)#
