Test the conductivity of the solution.

You can use a multimeter to measure the conductivity, and the higher the conductivity the more saturated the solution is.

Since #NH_4Cl# is an electrolyte, that means it dissociates into its constituent ions (#NH_4^(+)# and #Cl^(-)#) when dissolved in water.

Since it dissolves into its ions, that means the water is able to conduct electricity because the ions are have charges.

Thus, the more ions dissociated in the water means the more electricity the water will conduct.

Hope this helps!
