When red blood cell is kept is kept in concentrated starch solution, the cell get shrinked

Explanation:

since the concentration of particle is greater inside the cell as compared to around the cell .Thus by osmosis the starch particles will move from inside the cell to its surrounding.
This does not happen inside the body because the kidneys make sure the concentration of the blood stays about the same as the concentration of the solution inside the red blood cell.
