Explanation:

The sun's light rays cause our planet to heat. Heat in turn causes water to evaporate. As evaporated water rises in the atmosphere it causes cloud formation.

Heat also cause air to rises, convection currents, which churn up the atmosphere. As the atmosphere churns it tends to move in either clock-wise direction, high pressure areas, or counter-clock-wise directions, low pressure areas. The air, in turn wants to move from areas of high pressure to lower pressure, the physics of equilibrium.

The result is our weather.
