# Question #53967

$a .$ $H I \left(a q\right) \rightarrow {H}^{+} + {I}^{-}$
$b .$ $H N {O}_{3} \left(a q\right) \rightarrow {H}^{+} + N {O}_{3}^{-}$
$c .$ $B a {\left(O H\right)}_{2} \left(a q\right) \rightarrow B {a}^{2 +} + 2 H {O}^{-}$.
$\text{Hydrogen iodide}$ is in fact a very strong acid; as is $\text{nitric acid}$, $H N {O}_{3}$ (in fact the former is a stronger acid than the latter!).
