Question #cad22

1 Answer

Convert each length to the same units.

Below is a table of the most common unit conversions you may encounter:

If you don't have a table you can still compare different units. To convert one unit to another, all you need to know is how many of one unit another is equal to.

For example: is 4 meters or 13 feet longer?

Well, there are about 3.28 feet in a meter, so 4 meters * 3.28 feet each = about 13.12 feet. 4 meters is longer than 13 feet.

You could also divide 13 feet by 3.28 to put feet into meters. 13 ÷ 3.28 = about 3.96 meters. The comparison works either way.
