population density =
number of living organisms of a single species / unit land area

Explanation:

For example, say that there were 60,000 people in 3 square miles, the population density would then be 20,000/square mile.

Human population density is a common area of study in geography/ biology/ sociology, etc.

As the name suggests, it is the density of a population.

Explanation:

If you have studied density in science, it is the unit ratio of an object's mass to its area.

So, population density is basically the ratio of a population to a unit area, usually square kilometers.

This can tells us in which countries is it really crowded or not.
