# If pOH=10 for an aqueous solution, what is pH?

May 30, 2017

$p O H = 10$.....................what is solution $p H$?
$p H + p O H = 14$ in aqueous solution under standard conditions. This is something you will simply have to remember.
And so $p O H = 14 - p H = 14 - 4$, because $p H = - {\log}_{10} \left[{H}_{3} {O}^{+}\right]$
