don't be afraid of making mistakes really, we learn from our mistakes -

Study grammars and vocabularies
tenses, singulars, plurals, etc. (really important in English language)
Practice practice, practice makes you perfect -
Use English dictionary, e.g. oxford dictionary
or any dictionary that translates English to your language or your language to English. -
Listen to English programs or watch English movies

Always stay with English speakers

Go online and find resources that will help you with your English skill
These are the methods I use to improve my English, because English is not my first language as well.
