These three reagents have different purpose.

Explanation:

Benedict's reagent detects reducing sugars but not long chain carbohydrates.
Sudan IV detects lipids and proteins in cells.
Lugal's iodine detects long chain carbohydrates like starch.
Therefore if you wish to detect coiled carbohydrates use Lugol's Iodine solution
